2013 Kit Sale

We have a few remaining kit items left for the 2013 season.

Also, we are gearing up for 2014.  We are working to have our sponsors confirmed in the next couple of months so we can place an order before the end of the year.  That way we can beat the rush and get our stuff before the season starts.

July Update

We hope your summer riding, training and racing is going well. We know many of you have been out at the local races and doing well. Keep it up.

A few updates:

Most of you have now picked up your cycling kits. We are still waiting on the socks and we expect those to arrive any day. We apologize for the delay, but there was a problem with the initial order that was not realized immediately. We do have all the T-Shirts and cinch sacks. If you have not received those already, you can either pick them up at Think Architecture 5151 S. 900 E., Suite 200 or once we get the socks we will have a distribution day at either Sports Den or Revolution. For the 3 or 4 of you who selected to have your items shipped, everything will ship once the socks come in. If you are anxious and want your stuff before then, please contact DNA to make arrangements for 2 shipments.

Some of you ordered accessory items such as jackets, arm warmers, etc. We had a hard time meeting the minimum order requirements for those items. As such, someone from DNA will be in contact with you individually to make arrangements for a refund or to swap out the order for similar items from DNA's retail line. (Some of you may have already been contacted by DNA).

We do have a few Men's and Women's Jerseys left and a couple of Women's shorts. Once we have confirmed that everyone received their initial orders we will place those items on the Blog for Sale.

Race Reimbursements: the race reimbursements for the High Uinta Road Race have been issued. If you haven't already received it, you will soon.

Just a reminder that the best way to find out about team rides is to follow us on Facebook. There is a link to the facebook page at the left. Alternatively, you can join the Think Architecture Google Group. Again there is a link for this at the left. We encourage anyone to set up group rides using one of these contact methods.

Kits Are In

Good news, the Kits are in.....kind of. We are missing a few items such as socks, T-Shirts, Cinch Bags and a few accessories. But it appears the main kit items are here. We will organize everything tonight and get them distributed. If you want your stuff for this weekend, you can pick up tomorrow (Friday June 14th) at Think Architecture (5151 S. 900 E., Suite 200). If not, we will have everything at Revolution or Sports Den by early next week. If you asked for shipping, we will get that done.

In honor of the new kits coming in and our desire to get everyone wearing them, if you race in the High Uinta Classic this weekend, we will reimburse $30 of your entry fee. Same protocol as before: send us an e-mail with your Name, Category, Mailing Address, etc. As a bonus, anyone who places in the top 5 will get a $50 reimbursement and anyone who wins their respective category will get a $25 bonus. So, ride hard. Registration is still open but will close at Noon tomorrow, so sign up now.

April Update

Hopefully everyone is enjoying the spring weather and can find time to get outside and ride.  A couple of things we wanted to remind you of.
1) Please check the various website links on this page for access to racing, training and century ride calendars.  The East Canyon race is this weekend (April 20th) and it is always a fun one, especially with the recent course changes.
2) Be sure to like our facebook page.  Use the page to post group rides and coordinate efforts for training and racing.
3) The google group is still an option as well for organizing events, rides and other information you would like to get out to the team.

LAST CALL

Last call for kit orders.  Get them in before tomorrow morning (March 18th) at 8am. 

A couple other reminders:
1) When you renew your USAC licence number be sure to associate with the Think Architecture/Russell and Co club.
2)  Racing season is upon us.  Check the "Cycling Event Websites" below.  The crit series has started and the UCA series will be starting soon.

Kit Fitting

We will have a fit kit available at Sports Den (1350 South Foothill Drive). It will be there starting tonight Mar. 8th and run through Tuesday Mar. 12th. The kit orders will close Monday morning on Mar. 18th, so don't delay.  If you need to get fitted, just ask for the fit kit when you go into Sports Den. They have quite a few changing rooms that can be used, so bring your family and friends and get them all signed up.  And please be kind to the the fit kit. We know it can get messy when you are searching for what you need, so please try to return everything to some semblance of order for the next person.
 

In order to be a team member in good standing and have access to all the team/club and sponsor benefits, you must fill out a Membership Information Form and Waiver of Release. Unfortunately, we must have these in hard copy form. We will have some available at Sports Den that you can fill out and sign or you can print them from the website and mail them in. If you have any trouble with the website just send us an e-mail and we can forward you a file to print, sign and return.
 

When you place your kit order on the DNA store, be sure to register instead of checking out as a guest. If you check out as a guest we will not be able to capture your updated contact information, so you might lose out on team/club communication. We've had a good number of orders come in already, so we are optimistic that we will have a good club group this year.

A couple of notes on the offerings:
The bio-fit jersey is similar to the Elite jersey offered in years past.  However, the bio-fit has some upgraded features from the elite to allow for better ventilation control and better durability when pinning numbers on.  There are 2 color choices for this jersey white or grey. 

The convertible jacket/vest is a cool new product offered by DNA.  When in vest mode, it will be warmer than the century vest, so keep that in mind.  However, this product will perform great for those rides with changing conditions.

All other products remain essentially unchanged from previous years offerings. 

2013 - KIT DESIGNS

 



We are excited about the Kit Offerings for 2013.  All clothing will be produced by DNA cycling apparel.  Those of you who have purchased our kits before, know how great this stuff is.  Each membership kit package will include your choice of jersey above, bibs/shorts, socks, t-shirt and cinch bag.  The kit offerings will be in the standard Race Kit that we have before or you can upgrade to the Elite Bibs with the new Bio Fit Jersey (New product for DNA).  More details on these items will be available on the order website when it is up and running.  Additionally, we will be offering some accessories to go with your new kit:  Arm Warmers, Knee Warmers, Vest, Long Sleeve Thermal Jersey, Socks and a Convertible Jacket (this is a new product for DNA and is super cool).

The website for ordering will be up and running soon. When it is, we would like to get orders in as quickly as possible to get the production side of things going.  Also please note that there will be some changes to the kit designs above.  Mostly this is due to final sponsorship agreements once we have them all secured.  So there will be a few more sponsor logos on there, but we will try not to clutter it up too much.

Also, once we have the orders up and running, we will be having a kit fit party.  This is a great way to try stuff on and check out the various options before you buy.  Fore those who have ordered in the past the fit and materials are very similar to the past 2 years. 

Welcome

Welcome to the Think Architecture Cycling Team formally known as Skullcandy/Think Architecture.  We are excited about the upcoming 2013 season.  Currently we are working to finalize sponsors.  Once we do so, we will open up registration for 2013 and start the 2013 team kit order process.  We anticipate opening the kit order by mid February and placing the order at the end of February, so get ready and stay tuned!!
