Think Architecture Cycling Membership Benefits for 2013

How to Join
Joining the team is easy. There are 2 basic steps.
1) Fill out the Membership info Form and sign the Waiver Release and mail them in. Address can be found on the forms. A link to these forms can be found on the home page.

2) The second step is to order a team kit. We will have two order opportunities. The first will occur in the spring the second closer to summer.

If you don't get in on these orders, don't worry. You can still complete step one and we will add you to the team contact list. That way you can still participate in the club rides and other events and be informed for the kit orders next year.

Standard Member Benefits
In order to receive member benefits you must be a member in good standing. That means you must complete both steps 1 and 2 listed above. If you have, you will receive a membership card as part of your kit order. This membership card will outline the various discounts to each of our sponsors and will be proof of membership when you visit our sponsor's establishments. Sponsors change a little bit every year, but we always have a good bike shop discount and other product discounts as available.

Bonus Member Benefits
1) Any team member who completes ten (10) Utah Cycling Association (UCA) sanctioned races in the current season will be eligible for a standard membership package refund (Approximate Value of $135). The qualifying races must be eligible for upgrade points, regardless of whether you earn upgrade points or not. That means that some time trial events, hill climbs and road races may not count. Also, out of state races that qualify for upgrade points will also be considered.*

2) In order to promote racing, we also will offer select race reimbursements during the course of the season. The number of races we will reimburse is dependent on the amount of sponsorship money we receive. Last season we were able to reimburse 3 races (1 crit, 1 road race and 1 hill climb). Our plan is to do the same this season and try to expand it.*

3) Any team member who upgrades from cat 4 to 3 will receive a $50 race bonus. Any team member who upgrades from cat 3 to 2 will receive a $100 bonus. Any team member who upgrades from cat 2 to 1 will receive a nice pat on the back and kind well wishes from the team to pursue your pro-level endeavours and $150. No bonus for cat 5 to 4 upgrades as we expect everyone to do that eventually.**

Members wishing to take advantage of any of the above benefit will need to submit a reasonable amount of proof at the end of the season to tk2robot@gmail.com. Upon approval, a refund check will be issued.

*We reserve the right to cancel or amend any of the above benefits if our sponsors do not fulfil their financial obligations.
